Nope, you are sadly mistaken. I have invested thousands of dollars in the BOA building and the team. My name is on one of those Panther statues outside the gates. Just as Jerry leaves early or no-shows, so can I. So try "negative repping" Jerry since he's missed 10 times more games than I have....

Or doesn't my money work as well as his? Not the same or not as good?

Must be pretty easy to sit behind a keyboard and take shots at someone who has a significant financial investment (PSL) and an annual payment (the tickets).

Keep in mind the team has had my money for months. I paid for the opportunity to see an sporting event. It wasn't to my satisfaction and I chose to leave.

Tell me you've never returned a faulty product? Never gone back to a bad restaurant? Never sat all the way through a horrible movie?

Thought so...

That's you prerogative and your choice. Don't blast someone else because they didn't make the same choice.

Ah, the classic "you're not a real fan if..." cry rears its ugly head again.

I missed my first game in six years Sunday. I didn't want to sit in the cold and rain and watch that in person. Instead, I gave my tickets to two Panther fans who've never been able to afford good seats, let alone have ever been to a game, and I watched it at my house. Damn me and my not-real fandom!

Anybody know anything about the above link? I'm thinking about taking my son to his first game Sunday, but I'm a little leary about pulling the trigger w/o some positive feedback about the site first.

Me personally no - just saw it on Craigs list and found it interesting. Maybe sombody else can help. I sure wouldnt pay more than $9 for upper level seats though.

I hear ya Anybodyhome..... yesterday was the first time ever I actually thought about staying home. My son had a basketball game, wife was gonna bring him and I tried all week to find somebody to go with me to the game. Everybody either had plans or just didnt want to go, so I was going to go with my 6 yr old daughter. She had been to games before but not in the kind of weather they were predicting. That being said, I was just gonna stay home, save my money from not paying for parking, food, etc. Well I couldnt do it :cool: Was laying around the house in the AM, was about 11am and I had to go to the stadium..... so I suited up, got my daughter bundled up and off we went.

The only enjoyable part of the game was hanging with my daughter and she had still had fun. She loves going to the stadium. At about 5:30 min left in the 4th qtr I was ready to bail and she was like "no", "we are stayers", "we are not leaving till the clock says zero"..... I have taught her well :-)

That being said, I dont care anymore, no longer expect a win nor a good game so its easier to be there and just watch. I will be hanging on to my PSL for ever and look forward to when this franchise turns it around.

Awesome.

So what if our owner doesn't care? That doesn't mean we need to.. I'm not trying to say anything bad about you or that your not a fan but no one likes the fairweather fan crap. I'm going to cheer and be loyal to my team if were 0-16 or 16-0
