We traded the Patriots either the 33rd or 34th pick in the 2011 draft for Armanti Edwards.

I then thought about how nice it would be to have the 33rd or 34th pick in the 2011 draft.

Then I watched the hyped up Patriots and Bears game.

I cried I was so sad.

It is strange that a dude that rots on the pine for the worst team in the NFL and potentially NFL history was technically less than two picks away from being a first round pick.

The best picks of the 2010 draft will prove to be Greg Hardy, David Gettis, and Robert McClain. Lafell could sneak into the top three. It is starting to look as though Clausen and Edwards are busts. Don't forget, Hurney supporters, that Everette Brown was our first rounder!

Last years Armanti Edwards draft day trade with the Patriots was without a doubt,the worst draft day trade in Panthers history.

Looks like it will really come back to bite us big time in the upcoming 2011 NFL draft. What was Hurney drinking,err..i mean thinking?

That pick was one that should have been for a first year starter no doubt. However, I would not count out Armanti until he has had a few years here. I still think he will be solid for us, but we need to be patient and let the guy develop. What is sickening to me is that we drafted him knowing that he probably wouldn't start his rookie year. That is the fail.
