Where do you rank Andy Reid among NFL Head Coaches?

No disrespect to Reid, but I'm not sure you can rightly rank a coach who's never won a Super Bowl ahead of one who has.

I disagree, I'd much rather have Andy Reid than Jon Gruden or Mike Tomlin. But as far as guys who built the team that they won with, thats different

I would take the last decade of Philly success under the Panthers instead of a Superbowl.. The NFL is entirely too competitive to think SB or bust.. but constant success that Reid has brought to that city is hard to come by..

and Reid has a great chance to win that SB this year.. They are the best offense in the league with a very good defense to back them up.

I'll respectfully disagree... For me you have to look at what he did achieve with the talent he had and how consistently he did it.

I believe His team's have WAY over achieved on offense for their talent, and his defense has always been in the upper tier of the NFL. His teams have consistently been relevant in the post season.

Some coaches win super-bowls with talents they should win with... IE shannahan. Doesn't mean shanny is a great or better coach just because he got a ring and he is proving that now. Just mean he took care of what he should have with the best team in the NFL at the time.

I believe Multiple coaches could have won a superbowl with those Denver teams and other teams....

I do not believe other coaches could achieve what Andy has in Philly with his personnel. That's how I evaluate top coaches...

With that said, easily top 3.

    • Names I'd keep an eye on... Coby White,  Jalen Suggs, Amen Thompson  and Stephen Castle...  3 teams except Orlando has checked on Melo before and rumblings of sours getting rid of fox too. I'd think they think Melo and Wemby would make them nuclear out west.
    • Well he somehow had 12 preseason carries for not playing. He also has 20 carries in the regular season, not three. He has actually played in about 7% of the offensive snaps for this regular season(33% of the special teams snaps). This isn't stuff you have to make up, these are very easily referenced statistics, man.
    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
