WHY, WHy, Why...

First off: Why would we not give Peppers the option to rotate his position on the field at his leisure?

Second: Why did we not pair Peppers and Charles Johnson more as bookends, instead of having Johnson as Pepps backup.

Third: Why did or did Johnson play this good when Pepp was still on our roster?

We lost one of the best if not the best DE's in the league, found a replacement that was already on the roster and we're still short a DE. Maybe Hardy will step up next year when given a chance. Can our current coaching staff not evaluate the talent we have well enough to gameplan to their individual potential? Why

Johnson, like many other players for the Panthers never got the playing time he deserved thanks to John Fox's lack to evaluate talent. Johnson had a great rookie season and should of started last year but No way he starts over Peppers. I honestly think we could of traded Peppers last year and let Johnson start. That way we could of at least got something for Peppers.

I think Gary Barnidge has the potential to be a great receiving TE but thanks to Fox we wont get to see him reach his full potential until we get a new coach. Which could be too late.

First, Peppers isn't a Panther anymore, who cares.

Second, Peppers isn't a Panther anymore, who cares.

Third, Peppers isn't a Panther anymore, who cares.

First, I made the thread, so I care.

Second: any Panther fan should care. You can't learn anything about your future without looking at your past. Yes Peppers is gone, water under the bridge, right Catman. We can't do anything about that and I wasn't asking any of you to bring him back. My point was simply how good we would've been when he was here IF Johnson was playing at the level he is now, then. And if he could've played at that level then, how could our coaching staff have missed that?

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
