"" and the Carolina Panthers

So who is it? They were "Julius Peppers and the Carolina Panther". I hear "Steve Smith and the Carolina Panthers" and laugh. When's the last time that guy saw the end zone?

"Jon Beason and the Carolina Panthers" makes the most sense, but as good as he is, Beason just has no star power it seems for some reason. Sounds weird saying that. Maybe it's a position thing, other than the Ravens, what time is best known for their LB?

Steve's numbers from his last games Clausen/Jake didn't start in recent history (at least half the game played by a different QB)

85 yards

41 yards

46 yards

66 yards TD

75 yards TD

60 yards TD

157 yards TD

83 yards TD

hard to get in the endzone when you run the right route...have the window for the ball....and Jimmy ain't looking to target the #1 guy. Steve not getting into the endzone has more to do w/ a QB taking him out of the game except for an odd shut up throw.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
