Fox is a good guy, but was so even-keel and under the radar, that I think that many years from now, it will be hard to remember him at all. He was the polar opposite of colorful. Pure Vanilla.

He'll be remembered as the coach who loved his players, and cried when Delhomme was finally released.

So many thing about that game.....getting away from the run, poor gameplan or lack thereof, sticking with ineffective players, classic lines like a bad day to have a bad day. That game was so bad it will always pop into my head when I think of Fox......everything that made him a not a great coach wrapped up into one game.

Fox is the reason we were called the "Cardiac Cats" he would take the game down to the wire and somehow we would pull out a win

I'll remember that incredible Superbowl run he lead us on, and I'd remark after a close and hard fought win, "John is as sly as a Fox."

One of the best memories:

2003 when I was traveling somewhere listening to the game on the radio. We were playing Indianapolis when they were undefeated and had just come off of scoring nearly a 100 points in the last two games. Fox called a brilliant game, and we won it in overtime. I remember thinking that we might have us a pretty good coach and team, and I was right.

One of the worst:

Fox sticking with Delhomme way to long last year and in the playoff game against Arizona. Loyalty is a wonderful thing, but there is a limit to how much one should show.
