most definitely

you do NOT trade draft picks with the patriots, they're whole success is built on picking on the retard kids in april

There's no way to make even an educated guess as to this situation. You can't base one season (especially this one) on the outcome of how a trade will turn out for a player that is as diversed as Edwards. Give him a chance, if he sucks when we actually put him on the field, then make a decision. You are pulling the trigger way too early.

It's not the worst in franchise history...

Right now...I think we all sorta acknowledge that it was a bad trade. But, I actually believe it has the POTENTIAL to be the worst in our franchise history.

But...some crazy stuff has to go on like us cutting AE next season, the Patriots using that pick to scoop up an excellent rookie that we could have got, and we try to overcompensate for that mishap by doing something stupid like trading another 1st for a 2nd round pick and that blowing up in our faces...

1. Way too early to say that its the worst pick in panther history, you gotta give every player 3 years to say bust or not... on top of that WR's generally take 2-3 years to take off and he's one making a switch.

2nd. We have no idea what kind of player AE can be or what he will become... he could be a bust or he could be Smitty #2.

3rd. Who does NE take with the pick, do they turn out to be a good player?????? Another unknown variable here.... What if the NE pick is a Bust......
