At the Raiders, his defenses ranked 22nd to 30th in four of his five years. In one of his five (when they initially switched to a 4-3) they were No. 3.

In Cleveland they were pretty bad last year (30th?) and have improved this year to middle of the pack.

Not really interested in him for head coach if we go by his stats alone. He sounds like he'd be fun to listen to, though. =P

Dennis Green was fun to listen to as well, but he wasn't a championship caliber coach.

Something to consider here: when the Packers hired Mike McCarthy he was the 49ers O.C. and coming off one of the worst offensive seasons in franchise history (2005). That's worked out well enough for them.
