I'd say your a little late.

Either way, every time I go minister at a Teen Challenge program, I thank my parents for spanking me growing up.

If you think what you saw in that video is "child abuse" then you need to get out more. Because you're sheltered. That's called spanking your child, and it's exactly what kids need more of these days.

We have all these A.D.D. kids running around these days with overdeveloped ego's thanks to things like CoD and all these action movies (both of which I love, but most kids can't seem to grasp that it's fake) and it's given kids these days a sense of immortality, that they can do anything they want without being hurt or getting caught.

We need more parents who are willing to break those ego's down. I worked at Wal-Mart for a time as a cashier when I was a teenager, and I couldn't tell you how many parents and kids came through where the child would be screaming, and cussing, and hitting their parents because their mother wouldn't buy them what they wanted. These kids would be making a scene and throwing these insane temper tantrums, and their parents would be begging and pleading with them to be quiet. I had to resist the urge to ask to beat the kid myself...

Kids these days have a god-complex. Plain and simple. And it's a parents job to keep their feet on the ground. Not by berating them or verbally treating them like trash, but by what we saw in that video.

That video is fake, the kids admitted to it.

There's 13 more .. and at least 3 of them would be damn near impossible to stage and play off correctly. and of course the one sticking a remote in his ass would be the one to say it's fake. What is he gonna come out and say yea i shoved a remote in my ass what about it?

Wouldn't you say the same?

Either way, this kinda crap happens man, I've seen it too many times. Kids that have no respect for their parents because of their own egos, so when their parents grow tired of it and finally try to put their foot down, it's already too late.

I can't remember where I read it, but there was an interview with his parents, they were helping to make them.

Yeah, I've seen some ridiculous tantrums from spoiled children, I was just pointing out that that particular example was bogus.

The one about the just putting them on youtube so they can get views for his rap music ? Yea that may be true , but it wasn't until about video 7 or 8 when you could see some"acting" being done where the parents weren't as mad and they would just let him tear poo up.You know they couldn't have planned worldwide fame from the beginning for the parents to "help" The parents arn't even that much involved in most of them.

    • Yea when teams see a gun charge they rightly pause but this seems like a big misunderstanding.
    • Sorry man you lost me at "Teppers have evolved as owners". Limped into playoffs at 8-9 not even above .500 Tepper is trash as an owner bro and that's not even a discussion at this point. 37-83 w/l ratio. Nuff said.... Morgan tho, he's cooking and it ain't cuz of Teppers leadership
    • After listening to Morgan's presser twice, I came away with some key beliefs. First of all, I don't think he's a bullshitter. What you see is what you get. When he says something, he means it.  The Teppers really have evolved as owners. Morgan has mentioned how they're easy to work with--a pleasure to work with a few times now. There seems to be a good relationship between all of them (and include Dave Canales on that). We'll see if it lasts. Yes, no one wanted to come to Carolina with the previous management, but that seems to have changed. The team signed arguably the top Edge, LB and OT on the market, two of them on pretty good deals and one on what I'll say is "not a bad one." And, credit Sunshine Dave "Flowers and Cotton Candy" Canales for helping to change the culture. Morgan mentioned getting guys--and I'm paraphrasing--that are not only great football players but great people. Don't look for us to be acquiring any James Pearce types anytime soon, just saying. We'll see if that holds true in the future. Dan Morgan really has set up the Panthers to take the BPA/BAP. He mentioned it at least a couple of times, and he doesn't seem pressured to pinpoint a particular position. He just wants quality players that will help the team. This is how it's going to be (to your joy or dismay, probably for as long as he's here), and personally I love it. Many of us know how Morgan was when he played: aggressive! That's what he's going to be when making acquisitions. He explicitly said it, and emphasized it. All avenues are open (think FA, waivers...the draft)! Personally, as long as it's controlled aggression and not reckless aggression, I love it.  On KP: "Mobility is big in this league."  He basically says if another QB is the BPA while drafting--we're going by our board, people--we're going to add them.        ...
