So after this big win against the Bulls.....

Who else is really excited? I didn't want to buy into it yet, but after taking them down it's hard not to be excited. I know they didn't have Noah, but still.

I know Felton is having an all-star year in NY, but DJ is playing excellent basketball. Dropping 22 points and 12 assists with only ONE turnover tonight, is evidence. DJ is looking like a #1 pick and he had to play under LB for the beginning of the season, imagine all season under Silas. I do not regret the Felton decision at all right.

I hate Jax, but he's such a tease and comes up with nice shots sometimes. I'd still like to deal him honestly.

Wallace is back and looked energized.

Tyrus is a monster, seriously. I don't regret trading for him at all. That may end up being our best trade yet.

Diaw is surprising me, mainly his defense. I am the biggest Diaw hater but I can't deny he's been playing light years better than he did last year. I'd be kind of sad at this point to lose him via trade, and that's huge considering my past hate.

Kwame even playing well right now. Hendo showing flashes. We have things to look forward to Bobcats fans.

And how about our owner, on the court, and fired up. Shaking everyone's hands at the end of the game. Not only is that encouraging for the fans/players because he's the owner, but he's also Michael Jordan so it means a lot to those guys.

The fans at the stadium sounded good tonight too.

To be fair, Everybody wanted to blow this team up because of Larry. Jordan's recent moves has made the fanbase eat their share of crow.

Edit: Even Jordan himself quickly changed his tune on DJ when he saw how different (in a good way) he played under Silas than Larry; resulting in MJ quickly taking DJ off the trading block.

Yeah where are all the people who wanted to blow it all up only about a month ago.

I mean in a way that was understandable. We weren't playing well regardless of LB's stubbornness. Everyone was lethargic. Now we have a coach that let's our players play to their strengths. It really has rejuvenated our team.

Jax is the only one I'd love to deal right now, but I think he's staying with us the rest of this year, we'll see.

Tough game against Boston Friday, I'm not expecting a win, but I hope we make them earn it.

Jackson will be Jackson. You have to take the good with the bad. If we traded him, I highly doubt we'd make the playoffs.

I say keep what we have. I think thats what the brass' intentions were when we got the new coaching staff. We had to see what Silas could do with our team to see what the problem was. We found that it was LB.

I can't believe people are for trading Diaw and Jax but never bring up Gerald. He has been disappointing to me this year. People have figured out his game and he can't hit a FT. But with that said I say keep him, and see what Silas can do. I'm not sure there are too many trades that drastically improve our chances of making/advancing in the playoffs.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
