I like how you use 2 now instead of to or too because you don't know the difference :)

By you responding to that post you bumped it and brought Moore back to the forefront. If you didn't like it just ignore it. Mav, who is not exactly a Moore supporter but is also a reasonable poster, had the same reaction I did. If you can't see the connection and similarities between them then I understand how you don't see the relevance of the post, carry on. Remember, just because 8th graders had the day off today doesn't mean you can be up all night on the internet!

As much as you talk about moore he must give you a chubby:eek:

No I don't see the connection in wanting a franchise QB and Matt Moore. Who has proven in play as well as interviews that he will poo in his pants when expectation are put on him.

Plus the fact that Rivera mention the QB situation in his PC and Matt Moore name never came up. So excuse me for not seeing a connection between this new Panther regime and Matt Moore.

If your Matt's agent maybe you should try another teams MB. They won't know how much of a bed wetter he is.

Just watched the vid of Chud on NFL.com, back when he was the OC of the Browns. He basically said what Rivera said about offensive balance, word for word lol. I'm more hopeful now that I realised he never had much to work with in Cleveland. This was the year JAMAL LEWIS had his career revived, at least for a period of time. Me likey.

What will be interesting is to see his evaluation on our present roster and who he keeps and tries to replace or at find an upgrade. Particularly at wide receiver and TE.

I wonder if this makes Smitty a little more happy or whether he is waiting to see what happens at quarterback.

i think chud meets with smitty as soon as possible to give him a ideal of how he plans to utilize his skill set

    • We had a QB who could do that and its the last time we went to the Super Bowl and the only time we had an MVP. Once he lost his ability to do that he was out of the league. To filter out insignificant stats I will only look at QBs who have played in 10 or more games this year. There are 28 qualifying QBs. Bryce is 25th in Air Yards per Attempt at 6.4. Only Joe Flacco, Cam Ward, and Dillon Gabriel are worse (6.0, 5.8, 5.1). Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, and CJ Stroud are the median QBs at 7.1. Drake Maye and Sam Darnold lead the league at 8.7. Bryce is 18th in the league for passes that travel 30+ yards at 12. The median is Caleb Williams at 15. The league leader is Matthew Stafford with 26. With passes that travel 40+ yards, Bryce is tied with three others at 21st in the league with 3. Only Jacoby Brissett, Cam Ward, Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel are worse. The median is a three-way tie with Drake Maye, Trevor Lawrence, and Baker Mayfield with 6. The league leader is Sam Darnold with 12. Having the ability to complete passes down the field (not YAC) stretches the defense and makes them account for more ground. It keeps players out of the box and keeps formations in nickel or dime, less line backers for your RBs to worry about. Bryce is why we have 2 losses against the Saints. If he had the outright ability to sling the football down field we beat the easily, but he doesn't. So they crowded the box and our 2 starting caliber RBs with our top ~10 Oline couldn't carry the offense to a win on their own. The limitations of the offense fall squarely on Bryce.
    • Bryce’s deep passes are intermediate passes for other strong armed QBs. I will say that Bryce’s accuracy on his deep passes have improved. Before they would just sail out of bounds. Now the WR actually has a fighting chance on the ball.
