After doing some research on N Suh and Nick Fairley, I think Fairley compares to Suh rather than Gerald McCoy or Glen Dorsey. In Suh's Senior season, He had 85 TT(Total tackles) 24 TFL and 12 Sacks. In Fairley's Junior season, He had 60 TT but also had 24 TFL and 11.5 sacks. If you compare Fairley and Suh's junior seasons, Suh has more tackles than Fairley but Fairley's TFL and sacks are much greater than Suh. Suh had 19 TFL and 7.5 sacks in his Junior season compared to Fairley's 24 TFL and 11.5 sacks. The lesson I learned from this is that Fairley's Impact stats are just as good as Suh. McCoy and Dorsey's Senior Season stats don't compare with Fairley's Junior season.

After watching Fairley on some youtube videos, you get a WOW factor when watching him. In a game against LSU, He not only was being double teamed, he was being triple teamed. Watching Bowers, I don't get that WOW factor. He's very good against the run but his pass rushing ability might take some time to develop in the NFL. As a projection to the NFL, The only move he has right now is a bull rush which is very strong but I question whether he'll be able to get around Tackles in the NFL because he doesn't have an elite first step, he used his athletic ability to get around tackles in college which will be much harder in the NFL. My 2 cents

The only team I could see trading up would be the Broncos, one spot. They are switching to a 4-3 and need both a T and a DE. Any extra pick for moving down one spot would be nice and we would still be able to get Green, or Fairly/Bowers. Maybe he wants de'angelo as well. Although I think we need to keep him.

I bet Cincy at #4(?) would covet Green

I can't hate on the guy, its his journey to take but f**k man! how many times do you get to go # 1 in the draft and be the face of a franchise?? On the other hand, how many times do you get to return to college a superstar/god and get all the girls you could handle for another year with no pressure? easy answer

you would think going number 1 overall would get you more butt.

I'm not sure it's a weak draft. Weak at QB, perhaps. Even in the 2007 draft, it wasnt as weak as people think. A superstar WR, OT, RB, MLB, and CB were available in the first round, and I know for sure that many talent evaluators were sure that Russell was not a good prospect. In 4-5 years they will say the same about this year, only hopefully some other team took the bust, and our people did their homework and took a solid prospect.

And when Did size make any of the top DT good? You have no clue what your talking about. Dorsey is not bad. He is a 3-4 defensive end. He must play gap control. He would be better in a 4-3. I wish people on this game were around the true game as I was. You talk BS. You just think you the nxt mel kiper jr. You are soooooooo stupid if you think bowers or fairley wont be good. Fairly has 10.5 sacks and Dorsey had 7.5? BTW a little attitude would be nice. You should get over A.j green and andrew luck. Cant wait till fairley is a pro bowler.

I look at it this way.

If it's a bad draft, then it's bad for everyone.

Being the team that picks first means you may not get the best player of all time, but getting the best guys in a bad crop still means you're getting better players than the other teams are getting.

Be nice if it were a better pool , but whadyagonnado?
