My first ever homebrew is...

almost done fermenting. :eek: I am so freaking pumped. I will own my own brewery one day. This is the first step, I have been wanting to make beer for so long and I am so close to making it happen.

It is a coffee stout, pretty basic, but this is my first one. It is going to be called "Garage Coffee".

After its done fermenting, I am thinking about aging it with something in the Carboy, but I havent decided.

I will make a batch for a Panthers tailgate next year, and it will be called "Panther Porter".

Um, at minimum probably about 2-3 weeks, but for the best beer, 1-2 months. But it really depends on the beer.

My brother made some of his own beer a few years ago. I have to admit it was pretty damn good. Would get you drunk in a hurry too.

Nice. Was the malt an extract in a can or did you go old school? I did Mr. Beer for awhile. It made OK beer, not good enough for me to keep going with it.
