Pats owner wants a quick CBA done now!!

I have a feeling Kraft is making Mr. Richardson very uncomfortable. Jerry Richardson Kept Fox on for two extra years..and has not spent in free agency..letting Peppers go, Chris Harris traded, firing of his sons, all in preparation that there WILL be an extensive lockout.

If Big Cat is indeed one of the lead owners in this labor strife. I think we should watch his hand. I think he and a few other owners are wanting a lockout or else Jerry just realized he wasted the last two seasons for the fans, his players to have the worst record in football, go below the once existing minimum salary cap all to have the CBA resolved before next season. oops..and now losing free agent because they dont want to be here.

Jerry cut all those players bc there wasn't a salary cap last year and he could get rid of a lot of inflated contracts. We don't have to pay those guys year after year. Would you rather be in the broncos place? They have to pay shannahan, mcdaniels, and fox next year...I think things worked out great for us minus the terrible season. The only thing left is to lock up several of our players to long term contracts and keep building with the new regime.

I didnt hear that....you have not signed anyone to help the team in the last two seasons..you have guys going out and getting hit for a team and owner who's #1 priority since 2010 is to prepare the books financially to sustain for a lockout..not winning.

I hope we sign all our free agents but I will not be surprised if they cannot wait to leave because their contracts were allowed to get to this point. No extensions of Kalil, DeAngelo...are the two biggest ones. Miami is courting DeAngelo and they have no state tax..so income, sunshine and a team trying to compete may be more attractive...dont have to "hear that" to speculate.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
