Listened to the interview, nothing remarkable - said all the things you'd expect him to say about liking Charlotte, the Panthers, etc...

Was somewhat difficult to understand him, but we don't need him for his public speaking ability.

He wants Panthers fans to follow him on twitter, he's going to start having lots of conversations about the Panthers, his twitter account is "nick_fairley251"

Right, in order to trade down you would have to find a team that has absolutely fallen in love with a particular prospect and I don't think there are any prospects in this draft that teams have fallen in love with to the point that they would spend the currency it took to move to # 1.

Who says I want a 2nd? Tell Buffalo at #3 we will switch with them plus their 3rd this year and 3rd next year.

Yeah, it's small compensation compared to other prior trades involving the #1 pick but it is the weakest draft since 2005 and with no CBA in place (yeah, I don't it will happen in the next 3 months) that pick just aint worth as much.

      Im not firm on many things football, but this statement or belief or strategy I am 100% for. Full Offseason the goal is to make the playoffs. Week 1, 1000% I want to win. Weeks 2-10,  1000% I want to win. Until the math stats 0.000000000% chance at NO playoffs, I want to win. *Once* there's no chance at the playoffs, I want to 100% lose every game until the end. You are still loser at 2-15 or 5-12, I want to never lose like this again. I want the best value for losing and suffering. Again the only goal is playoffs. Once in the playoffs anything can happen, I want to win the whole dam show. If you happen to lose in the first round, that's perfectly fine and lets work hard this upcoming off-season to get another chance to make them.  This is the ONLY way to play in the NFL. Anyone not understanding this method of strategy, please call your doctor for a visit...

      Purdy's good but at the end of the day you're paying first class money for a business class seat.  It's a big problem with the salary cap.  QBs take most of it whether they are Pat Mahomes or not.

      Purdy saved the 49ers from that three 1st picks for Trey Lance. People forget that. People also forget he should have MVP votes for the 23 season. He's been any where from the 8th(his best/23) to 14th ranked QB, he's legit and guys around top 10 get paid as QBs.....guys in 28th get paid too, he's 4x the QB Trevor Lawrence is and better than BY by miles as well...even without CMC, Samuel(whos a RB playing WE), and half the OL.    *BUT*    You non-believers missed this ultra important mistake that honestly made me reconsider all the praise I gave him. https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/49ers-qb-brock-purdy-throws-blind-40-percent   That's is damming to my case and reset my thinking of his. That's nuclear scary now and I need some time.  too honest for me to overlook.
