How did you meet the Huddle?

I was always on other message boards and they sucked.

Started on charlotte observer before they have the commenting format that they have now. Just talking to people about the articles. That is where I learned that people have a lot of fuging wack opinions about what should be done with the team and what the common everyday joe public knows about football. It was too general for me. People didn't like it enough or just didn't know enough about football and our team.

From there, I went to NFL.com. Made lots of buddies on there. I started doing a lot of game center commenting where you are just talking to fans of the opposing team every week. That was fun for a while, branched off into a whole other website with some people from there (mainly Saints fans). In fact, I met MVP2011 on nfl and brought him over to the dark side that is teh huddle!

Got tired of those places and realized I wanted somewhere where everyone was a Panthers fan, felt somewhat similar about their dedication to the team, and knew at least some of what they were talking about. I think I was just googling through all the Panthers sites honestly, Carolina Growl, CatScratchReader, etc....and just came upon this site and immediately fell in love with you fugers.

So, here I am. This site turned me on to going to tailgates and meeting some of you kids. The idea that people are all coming together to share their love of the Panthers is VERY cool to me, and to pretty much everyone I tell about the Huddle. Don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Sorry.:)

I answered a personal add that simply stated....photographer looking for male models

back in 04 or whenever it was, the Panthers were in Seattle and PanthrPryd came to my regular Seahawk site to shoot the poo. He invited us here and to be 100% honest, the fact that he had the lovely Ms Wrenn as his avatar, was the first thing that made me decide to check it out!!! Came to Charlotte the following season for a game/tailgate!

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
