A day after pleading not guilty to felony grand theft, Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to tell fans she was innocent.

"I would never steal, in case people are wondering," Lohan wrote in a message. "I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal."

"I just want to be on set again, and left alone to just work!"

"Also, what I wear to court shouldn't be front page news," she said of the figure-hugging white outfit she wore to the arraignment. "It's just absurd."

The 24-year-old could face a maximum of three years in prison if convicted of stealing the $2,500 necklace.
