I think regardless of who gets the tag used on them, they'll all be resigned. Like pantherclaw said above, it'll just go to whoever takes the longest to resign once the CBA is done. Otherwise, it'd go to Kalil I think. The only way they'd tag CJ is if they're concerned this year was a 1 hit wonder for him. If they're confident he's for real, it'll be cheaper to sign him long term this off season than after another good season and his talent is solidified in the eyes of the rest of the league.

Would be just our luck for the only 2nd round pick we have ever made that was worth a crap (Kalil) to just walk after his rookie deal is done. I can't believe JR has put the future so much ahead of the present. There is no way we can keep all the talent we have that is hitting FA. And people on here wonder why we keep calling him cheap.

I think it's a matter of protecting the certain player from other teams. Kalil is probably the most likely to get ridiculous contract offers from other teams.

I think they are planning on re-siging all of them it's just a matter of keeping the most likely person to leave on the team.

JR is insane if he handcuffs Hurney from trying to keep all of our FAs. His no-nonsense attitude will be a makes-no-freaking sense attitude. There all young players drafted by the team, it took years and years to acquire them.
