I took one MASSIVE poo this morning, oh yea I forgot, when I went to McDonalds this morning there was a handwritten sign on the door that said "We close"

I drove up to a 24 hr drive through mc donalds once that had a hand written sign on the window saying "we are close".

So I've been thinking. JR is very well respected by his peers in the CBA negotiations. He has been playing the role of what some call a "bully". Could there be a reason behind this? Let's break it down.

- The Panthers have the #1 pick. If JR plays hardball and we have no football in 2011, we would end up with the #1 pick again. Giving us the opportunity to draft Luck.

- JR has been looking out for the future of the Panthers. So he made the necessary moves (though they crippled us last season) to set us up for a winning program in the future. Could causing work stoppage in the NFL world in order to secure a future Franchise QB in the 2012 draft be a possibility?

- This was actually all a joke and I was just posting something different for others to read and even ponder such a senario. I needed to get away from the Cam Newton threads :willy_nilly:

Where is everyone getting the notion that if there is a lockout we will get the number one pick again next year. Did I miss something. I find it hard to believe they would do it that way.

Yes, you clearly missed something.

The NFL came out a few weeks ago and said in the event of no football next year, the draft order would remain the same as this year.

Steve Reed said this with no documentation except "league source". If the NFL said it I haven't seen it either.

I have read that there is no rule in place for draft order after a lockout so it would have to be agreed upon.

So I don't get how anyone would know this already
