jalen coker and demani richardson were both at one point cut from the roster and brought back and now are contributors

my guess is that Barno isn't healthy enough at the moment after knee clean up procedure and they needed the roster spot for training camp

That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.

I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.

I miss the boat with Brano. I thought at worst he would be a ST ace. I had him as the top backup that gets 8 sacks. (in a minor defense, he was a gunner on ST a few times).

Think like Al Wallace or Mario Addison, he just didn't have the drive or talent it seems. He's been injured for 2 years now and was "hurt" during the OTAs, mini camp......Panthers honestly kept him much longer than they should.

Maybe he will realize the NFL is not a rehab facility.

6th rounders do have less success than UDFAs.

So few of the guys pan out after the 3rd round. I really never put too many eggs in those baskets, minus some exceptions.

The NFL is really not-for-long in most cases. Hell, as I've mentioned before, even second rounders have a 49 percent chance of being on the street, according to Google AI, after four years.

I am not sure what the statistics are for 2nd rounders, much like Google "AI", as I would have to do actual research that it doesn't.

The 3.3ish years average NFL career has held fairly true, IIRC. I know there is a site that still tracks that data.

There was a very good and thorough look at success rates by round(I think it was based on games played or started) I read a few years ago and after the 3rd round the success rates dropped off precipitously.

I will see if I can dig that up in the near future.
