The Carolina Panthers announced a pair of moves ahead of their work on Monday.

Defensive lineman Bobby Brown III and punter Sam Martin were activated from the non-football injury list this morning. Brown and Martin, both of whom were shelved due to minor hamstring injuries before the start of training camp last week, are now cleared to join the team on the practice field.

Brown III signed a three-year, $21 million deal this past spring. The 6-foot-4, 332-pounder spent his first and prior four NFL campaigns with the Los Angeles Rams—amassing 84 combined tackles (nine for a loss), half a sack, two quarterback hits and one pass defensed over 49 games.

Martin also landed in Carolina out of free agency, on a one-year pact worth up to $3 million. He split his previous 12 pro seasons between the Detroit Lions (2013 to 2019), the Denver Broncos (2020 to 2021) and the Buffalo Bills (2022 to 2024).
