The North Texas QB is as good of an NFL QB prospect as there is in college football right now and he's only a freshman and evidently didn't play QB in HS. That's insane. Who was playing QB for his HS???

Nothing against North Texas, but I hope he hits the portal. I'd like to see him in a power four conference.

He’ll most likely follow his coaching staff to Oklahoma State. He never started a high school game at QB, they gave him a preferred walk on at UNT and then a scholarship a month or two into being in spring ball as a freshman.

Oklahoma State, despite sucking, has deep pockets and can leverage his loyalty and their budget to keep him in a system that could win what will be a weakened Big 12 in 2 or 3 years.

I've watched a few UNT games this year and the kid is good. Evidently the starter at his HS went to Louisville so at least it was a P4 QB recruit playing ahead of him. Evidently he played safety just because he wanted to play.

The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.

Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.

Holy poo, App State is 5-7 and in a bowl game. LOL!

The dozens in attendance look thrilled to be there. Attendance is so light half the players' parents didn't even bother.

Yep so many teams opted out of bowl games this year they had to go down to 5 win teams, and most of them opted out

lol, I’ve never seen that before. Coastal only had ten men on defense and after the play started the eleventh guy bolted onto the field and assisted with the tackle. Considering that the play was on the goal line, that’s quite a feat to run that far that fast.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
