5 carries for 15 yards? He's got a goal line touchdown. But Javonte Williams is doing all the work.

I don't think he was ever fully healthy when we had him.

That said, the way they're using him is way smarter than what we tried.

Anyone watching Giants-Cowboys?  Miles Sanders looks like a completely different back. Burns also looks really good too.

Such an indictment on this organization, no one looks worth a poo here.

Sanders looks exactly the same as he did here.  2 receptions for 4 yards, and 5 rushes for 15.

Burns looks like what we thought he would turn into here.

Wilson is having a heck of a game to.

Changes to the college game are why it's become so hard to develop quarterbacks and find half decent offensive linemen.

It's on NFL coaches to develop NFL talent. College coaches are trying to win college games. That NFL coaches are failing to properly develop NFL talent is on them.

He actually started to look better in his last stretch with us but it was never really a good fit and there were times he just played poorly coaching aside.

Brian Burns looks pretty good though. But he has those high and low performances we are all familiar with. Still glad we didn't pay him all that money. Just too many needs.

Maybe, although I think the jump from college to NFL has always been difficult to make.

I also think the changes to the game emphasizing passing have put the qb's under a lot more scrutiny.  There was a time when qb's were not usually the first pick in the draft.

I know its unpopular, but I think some of these guys (Caleb Williams for example) would benefit greatly from a year on the bench watching and learning.

No argument. I've said before it's not on the college coaches to prepare players for the NFL. Their job is to win games, and the methods for doing that are a lot different than at the pro level.

Wasn't always such a big discrepancy, though. I get why it's changed, but I miss when there wasn't such a huge gap.
