Just let his fans have their delusions. Its not worth repeatedly pointing out the errors in their logic. Who cares anymore?

You think it is an error to believe that Bryce may have been a more consistent player under a well rounded team with a coach that uses him in an advantageous way?

that’s not delusion. I never said that he would be a hall of famer, or that he would even be a serviceable starter. Only that he may have turned it around which under the current circumstances means just mediocre play.

not once did I even mention in the slightest that he could have ever been a top tier talent.

You are free to think that. I'm also free to think that his chances of success are slim to none. He has zero chance here. But to each his own.

Yeah your right good point. Sometimes it’s easy to forget we have the freedom of thought.

if you actually read my original comment you would have noticed I said the same. Not that it was slim to none only acknowledging I can’t predict the future or in another opportunity he may be better. It actually happens all the time(Sam Arnold, Daniel jones, Baker mayfield)

I even said he’s not our guy in this post and in multiple others. In fact I’ve been very critical of the dude

The difference between those guys and Young is that none of those guys were as bad as Young or as limited. Young is just not cut out to be a starting nfl qb. It doesn't detract from his accomplishments before he got to the league. Its more of an indictment of the executives on the team that believed he could.

I wish people would actually go back and watch his college games knowing what they know now. Myself and plenty others on here pointed out some glaring talent deficiencies and laid out why his playing style was unlikely to translate to the NFL given his skill set. Go back and watch Bryce throwing to wide open receivers. Watch him immediately backpedal 10 yards behind the LOS after every snap to gain depth to see over the scrum and stand square to the line forcing him to reset his feet and flip his hips to actually deliver the ball once he finds what he wants. None of it was going to work at the NFL level.

Now I will say that even as a loud Bryce dissenter from the get go even i am shocked at how bad it's been. I didn't think he was ever going to be a franchise starter but I honestly never anticipated that he would be THIS bad either.

I’m half joking when I say someone from the huddle could step out there and do what he does, but I’m not.  Because what he does is exactly what I expect from someone with little to no experience trying to make things happen.  The way even when he tries to avoid mistakes, he seems to find them.  Watching him try to run away from a defender twice his size and still get hawked down, then him try to do the smart thing and tuck the ball away, only for the said defender to punch the ball out with ease.  Watching him scramble out of the pocket, get squared up by a defender, one on one, and then he tries to juke one way. No, the other way.  No maybe I should’ve went the first way.  Then trip over himself and fall forward while fumbling.  The Jessie Bates game - those picks he threw?  You see most QBs might make a throw like that a couple times a season.  He has done it 2 or 3 times a game, multiple games in his career.  He did it twice against Jacksonville this season.  It all looks like someone who is new to this.  It looks like someone who has no idea what they’re doing and are in way over their head.

Brother you need rethink your priorities. I would not spend 75% of my time arguing even if I was an attorney. I damn sure am not doing it for free over a player.

Well most of what's on Twitter is Panthers related for me. So when Shena and others ask questions I answer. And if the answer involves Bryce it's gonna be an argument cause I don't let poo go 😂. I'm not on Twitter all day or nothing tho.

I'm not on Twitter or any other social media so that frees up a lot of time I cannot afford to waste. I waste too much of my time on here as it is now.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
