Dead serious. Put Hurts on this team and import their offensive system and we could largely duplicate what they do. Our OL is at least as good. They have two really good WRs but the offense isn't really built to heat utilize them. Barkley has regressed pretty hard from last year's peak. Dowdle is literally out playing him. Hell, he's outplaying every RB in the league over the past two weeks. THAT is the story with the Panthers right now. Yeah, Bryce has been playing better again but he's been playing better while riding a backup RB who has been the best offensive player in the league over the past two weeks.

Yeah, Bryce is basically playing like an average starter while riding the best RB in the league. Not saying Dowdle is the best RB in the league overall, but he has been over the past two weeks.

Yep. That's what I said at the beginning before "feelings". He's not playing bottom tier. He's average right now.

Miles Sanders rushed for damn near 1300 yards in Philly. More than any season for Chuba. And I didn't "poo" on Chuba. That's your interpretation. I think he's a gritty between the tackles running back, but he isn't a homerun threat. Never has been. He's a consistent get you positive yards back.

He's played like an average starter in maybe a third of his career games. Below average to bad in the rest. My point is that if you put a 200 yard RB behind pretty much any NFL roster caliber QB he's going to be able to play like an average starter leaning on that running game. But we're talking about a third year #1 overall pick with 30+ starts under his belt and we're still having to grade on a massive curve like we're playing some young mid-round pick who was drafted to be a backup. If that was the type of guy we were playing yeah, everyone could be happy about it but it's not. It's a guy we mortgaged the franchise on because the organization thought they were getting a franchise QB who could carry a team and we're still having to try to find ways to carry him.

He rushed for 74 more yards than Chuba did last year. He also played in all 17 games versus 15 for Chuba.

The point was Miles Sanders wasn't just a guy in Philly. He was at least as good as Chuba has been in Carolina.

They went the playoffs before that with Hurts being the #1 rusher on the team.  The highest paid OL and Hubbard would be plenty for Hurst to lead a more productive O than Bryce.   He doesn’t have to be a take it to the house RB to out pace Bryce Young lol

Sanders rushed for 74 per game, then Swift rushed for 65 per game the next year…..and in 2024 Hubbard rushed for 73 per game.  

Hubbard paired with the highest paid OL is plenty for Hurt to run read option and make some easy passes with and THAT is going to outpace a BY offense (which the last 2 isn’t Rico games)

In your opinion, in what year do the excuses stop for bryce?  I mean the most expensive line in football, a top tier rb, 2 first round wr's.  So tell me at what point do you simply just accept he isnt a good nfl qb?
