He could get more than that on a two year backup deal. For example, Mac jones’ contract to be a backup is 2 years 8 million. He was much more productive as a stater than Bryce has ever been, but just to give a comparison point.

His 2026 salary would also include a $4.8 mil roster bonus. That is guaranteed money.
