This is the new thing lol. It’s all open to interpretation and it’s your fault for your interpretation. The guy saying “stop teasing” was really very upset with Bryce Young being injured, not excited. Ignore his other posts that seem to indicate the opposite. And don’t you know “Exciting not to see Bryce!” was in no way happy with Bryce Young getting injured. Again, don’t bother looking at the rest of the posts for further context. And definitely nobody was making fun of him by saying he was injured by the water boy bumping into him, or it was a gentleman’s benching, or his feelings got hurt. And the comments about him getting tackled by a finger graze or getting taken down by a stiff fart were not hyperbolic over reactions to the play that just happened, it was just general conversation completely unrelated to that play. And of course none of their views are tainted by a desire to see Bryce Young fail, they all want the best for him and the team, that’s how you know for sure that you are totally taking all the posts the wrong way. Really can’t believe you would make up all these lies.

The outrage is a bit overdone for the situation. A few people made comments and jokes that were in poor taste. No one wished injury.
Are you going to paint every non believer with that brush?

Great now we are using the definition of gas lighting to then gas light. Chefs kiss on that full circle.

You’re misinterpreting.

The past 2 pages have been calling this guy a liar and “deliberately obtuse” while over analyzing the use of the word “cheering” as the basis to call him a liar and say things never happened lol. Did it not happen at all or are they just comments and jokes in poor taste? Is this guy a liar or an internet autist who just can’t rise to the level of your nuanced message board dialogue to come to a reasonable conclusion about what anybody means by anything they’re saying?

I am not denying that things were said. That wasn’t my point. But carry on this will go nowhere.

Oh snap, the post calling him a liar was like three posts before you jumped in.
what do you get, a post a page?

Nope, I was being straightforward. You on the other hand tried to talk about gas lighting while combining sarcasm which just made your take convoluted at best and at worst just straight gas lighting.

Never talked about gaslighting and you’re interpreting sarcasm but for all you know I was completely serious. Are you getting the point? Hope I don’t have to call you a liar and say it never happened to drive it home.

    • Some of this is just brainstorming/throwing poo against the wall, seeing as how we have one of the least talented QB rooms in the league.  We need a talent infusion badly.  I feel Shedeur has the prerequisite talent athletically and as a passer, and I have since his college career.  Do I think he will actually be traded this offseason?  99% not likely.  On one hand, he’s proven to likely be the best QB on their roster.  On the other, they, and no other team wanted to take a chance on him for 4 rounds, so there has to be a price they would be willing to part ways with him for.  That’s why I brought up the Joe Milton situation as an example.  He was drafted to a team who took another rookie QB much earlier in the draft, spent his rookie year with them, then was traded before his second year for a relatively low value.  But, again, I also think the attention Shedeur naturally garners makes teams uncomfortable about rostering him if he’s not a starter.
    • I'm content to see how the next 4 games play out. Mostly because there are no other options! These are certainly more important games than at the same time last year...let's just see what happens. It's exhausting constantly yelling about Bryce. He's here, will almost certainly be our starter next year as well. Nothing to do but sit back and watch, and have faith that DM and DC will make the best move available for the future success of the team. They've done a good job so far. Way better than anything else coming out of Carolina for the last 8 or so years.
    • That sounds like your baggage. Can he play or not? That is the question.
