Statistical wash. The only difference is one is a WR and the other is a TE, which shouldn't even be close, even in today's NFL

I was told that drafting a TE over a WR or EDGE would be a dumb move with our first round pick.  Generally speaking, it is, but generational talents break the rules of conventional norms.  I knew that, but people didn't want to listen to reason and held tight to their drafting 101 rules of thumb.

600 yards with Bryce Young throwing the ball to you is incredibly impressive.

Steichen could've been ours if DT didn't think he was "awkward".  He just loves his motivational hard-sellers.  

 

Probably was awkward when he couldn't understand some of the completely moronic questions Tepper asked. Or when he replied with football related things Tepper didn't understand.
