The Jets are not well coached. They need to be throwing the ball just enough to keep the D honest. The read option is working well for them tonight. Hand the ball off, run the read option, and mix in some play action passing to keep the D honest. This isn't rocket science but for some reason they seem really hesitant to run more read option.

It's really head scratching why they're still starting him 10 weeks in. You'd think Aaron Glenn would want to see what him and the OC could do with Taylor who at least knows how to throw a football. It's not like there is really anyone to tank for in the upcoming draft

Tyrod has been ass too and can't run as well.

Fields/Taylor just might make Bryce/Dalton the 31st worst QB combo in the league.

Given the trade recently, I have to assume they are tanking. Tyrod is better than Fields. I mean, Mike White is probably better than Fields.

They do have 5 first round pick in the next two years, I feel like they already tried that strategy like 5 or 6 years ago though lol. The bad team vs qb supply and demand scale feels like it's getting pretty ridiculous with not much hope in sight coming from upcoming draft prospects.

Pretty sure that's what the Steelers tried with him and Wilson last year lol. It wasn't a complete disaster but we also don't have Mike Tomlin coaching our team.

It was just a jab at Canales and his 1 series for each guy strategy that he used at running back.

Fields is unplayable.  Unless you’re trying to pick 1st overall.

Fields has played in the NFL for 4.5 years now. 

He only has one of his 4.5 seasons that would eclipse Bryce Young's lowest season passing yards per game average. His career average in 58 games is 153.8. 

The Fields guys have always wanted to see an even more unwatchable version of Bryce Young. One with literally every physical advantage that could possibly exist for a QB.

I do think with Fields you must include his rushing, where he has averaged 800 yards per season over 17 games. So he'd be at 3400 yards total in a season. Bryce in comparison is at 2900 yards passing plus 250 yards rushing so just a bit under Fields. Still not even impressive numbers for either of them.

I personally found Fields more fun to watch l but I wouldn't choose either of them anymore.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
