What are the chances the match vs TB gets flexed to Sunday night?

Maybe. I would prefer it just doesn't happen at all.

Our history on prime time is rough.

There's just not that many meaningful games the last week.  We'd probably be the only game that was straight up for a divisional championship.

I was looking at the schedules and for this scenario to play out we need the tie breaker against Tampa.  So we would need to beat Seattle the week before as well.  But if we sweep Tampa then its moot.

Hey, at this point, just happy to be here.

I do want to rob Tampa and end their streak, though. That would be perfect.

...flexed to sunday night"?

I for one hope it dosen't. The Panthers are a regional team (both Carolinas), some local affilates outside of the immediate Charlotte area may not simulcast. If it's to be "flexed" make it a 4:00pm start so more can watch locally.

Sunday Night is a national broadcast.

The last game of the year will absolutely be flexed if its essentially an NFC South title match

Shits going to be over in two weeks. Falcons are beating the bucs were beating the saints then we are going to boat race the bucs at home and end it.

Seems weird.  If it's flexed to Sunday Night then it will be an NBC national game

for those stations that are just outside the Panthers designated viewing area (you know who you are) that have a choice as to which game to show... they'll likely choose to air the game that is most meaningful rather than some cupcake.

And if they choose not to air Panthers and choose to air some other game: CALL THE STATION AND LET THEM KNOW. They can always change back

    • I don't care that they're sitting out the bowl game. Yeah, I'm gonna make fun of them for it but I honestly don't care. What I care about is all the special status treatment they get from everyone from the CFP to the ACC to the media. fug all of that. Just treat them like every other team in the country and if they don't like it then tell them to go fug off. The rest of college football holds way more power combined than ND, it's not even close but they act like ND holds the cards. If the rest of college football told them to fug off and stopped scheduling them it would cause minimal overall drop off to college football as a whole while ND football would die very quickly. What are they gonna do, play community colleges? All the real players are gonna hit the portal and ND would be fielding a team of Rudy's in short order, viewership would fall off because no one wants to watch Rudy's play community colleges, the TV contracts would disappear and ND football would be dead. That's exactly what needs to happen. The rest of college football needs to band together on this one and tell them stop, no more of this bullshit. No more special treatment. The same standards that apply to everyone else apply to you and if you don't like it then you can just stomp off and take your ball and go home... again. Just forever this time.
    • I couldn't care less if they do. There are entirely too many in the first place.
    • Possibles(although not definites): Jets Browns Colts(injury related only) Vikings   Saints or Falcons is an arguable take but I am very doubtful they would swap their challenging QB situations for ours.
