We had as many drives as the Saints. We just failed to execute at the end of the game, and they succeeded. They had the better QB and the better play calls that game. The defense gave up only 20 despite an offense whose last 3 drives were a turnover on downs and several quick 3 and outs. By no means was it good but you should win if your D holds their opponent to 20. I mean, most NFL teams would since they average 23 points. (Panthers only average 19 though) -
I loved how descriptive Mick Mixon used to be. He had the uncanny ability to paint a picture with his words. Miss that guy. -
