He is, or was, an excellent DB position coach. Was for us. 
They gave him scraps for his room, because they knew he would get something out of them. And he did. 
 

I was never impressed with his DC’ing. 
 

People don’t appreciate how different some of these jobs are, he just doesn’t seem to click as a DC. Did better as HC.

Him and glenn were never going to mesh. 

That's not terribly shocking.

I know what a lot of people liked about him here was that he took responsibility for things. It was a very pleasant change from Matt Rhule's deflection and finger pointing.
