Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History

The Tua thing is revisionist History. He had 2.5 really really good years with McDaniels before getting paid, and people fear with him was his concussion history.  2022 - 2024 until he got knocked out for year he was looked at as top 10 by just about everybody.

Tua also posted a winning record as a starter in each of his first 5 seasons.

Tua is a much worse situation than Bryce. Tua continued to improve to being elite or near elite, garnering a mega deal and face of the franchise hype. Then the wheels fell off for various reasons.

With Bryce, he has improved from absolutely dreadful to just simply bad. There shouldn't be an illusions about being elite or a mega deal being the face of a franchise.

Well....if we had logical or rational people leading the franchise anyway.

Bryce was 24/35 for 266 yards with 2 picks and 1 int. He threw threw for more yards than Baker and more touchdowns, and had a higher QB rating.

Our running backs combined for 20 yards.

Who was the problem?

I mean, Bryce had a good game, but the problem is is that they are too too far in between. Moreover, you realize that defenses will continue to stack the box (which we have seen far too many times the last three seasons) when they don't believe that the QB will beat them.

20 yards is either hyperbole, or incorrect.

Looks like 20 yards to me, so it’s not hyperbole nor is it incorrect.

If you go into the bathroom at night and say “big time throws” three times into the mirror, electro’s horse will appear and criticize your linens and tile choice.

like clockwork Mac and bone were citing "big time throws" today and saying he was a top 10 qb down the stretch.  Sounds familiar.  They also was saying he needs more help.  I mean at some point.......

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
