I'm hoping he doesn't end up here in some capacity. We have too many old coaches roaming the building as it is.

Dom Capers still around with this terrible toupee?

is Canales still going to name drop this guy as some sort of role model after this year?

I mean Canales owes his entire career to him. It’s not just like some guy who was worked under for a year or so. For whatever that’s worth ha

Last I heard he's around somewhere. I'm not sure what he does though.

As I interpret it, Evero’s confidant and sounding board. I wanna know what Jim Caldwell could possibly be doing.

What really sunk Pete is how hard he went to bring in Geno Smith who is not only not a good quarterback but an asshat to boot.

I wouldn’t have hired him myself. As an old guy about his age, that was a multi year hard job, better suited for a late 40, early 50 something than a 70 something.

When I go to work now, one job takes me two days to recover from lol. Used to work doubles all week, months on end.  And go out afterwards. Different world.

Even if Geno sucks, the whole team is just straight ass.  3 wins is completely unacceptable for someone like Pete Carrol.  You hire a coach like Pete for his floor, not his ceiling.  When that floor is just as bad as anyone else, there's no point to having him in the building.

On the one hand the Raiders are the Raiders. But Pete has been living off that one Super Bowl win where the Denver Broncos basically never showed up from the first snap (must be nice) and his only other claim to fame is giving away the next Super Bowl by trying to cater to Russell Wilson instead of just giving the ball to Marshawn Lynch and winning the game. The Seahawks let Pete hit the road traded Metcalf hired Mike MacDonald and they are as good as they've been in years. Pete Carroll has just been overrated for quite awhile now. It is what it is.

Well he has also won a National Championship, and while it's not a 2nd Superbowl, it is an accomplishment.

The funny thing is I think there were expectations that the Raiders were going to be significantly better this year. Maybe not division winner better but not 1st overall pick in the draft bad either.

He was certainly a capable college coach. Seems he benefited greatly from the structure of the front office in his early days in Seattle. As much as it pains me to say. They are a very well ran organization for the most part.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
