Yeah idk I'd rather see us just send it and clearly be playing to end the game ourselves, even if they torched us on it. This was a classic Panther defensive ending...after the first 2 WIDE OPEN throws I knew exactly what was going to happen, we've seen it for over a decade. Excellent game but it makes me sick we went out that way.

INMHO, He is the HC

if he didn’t like what was happening, he could’ve opened his mouth during the game

Canales is ass too, it took him until the last game of the season to realize Coker is a much better WR than XL.

The huddle has known this since last season.

Kind of feel like Coker was being eased into more snaps throughout the year bc of his injury. I think a big part of why DC sounded so mad at Coker’s conditioning in preseason was bc they had a big role carved out for him

Evero has been developed around Jim Harbaugh, Mike McCarthy and Sean McVay.

His default is to go conservative when they tie the game or have the lead. Conservative when they are only 1 score behind with 4 or more drives remaining in the game. Defensive minds like Evero rely on playing conservative, stopping the run, playing to keep receivers from getting behind the secondary, and baiting/forcing the QB into mistakes. He's not coming with the blitz unless the team is trailing and needs to disrupt the opposing offense.

His default is to allow the offense to win the game with the final possession in these situations.

He developed as a coach with Jeff Garcia, Colin Kaepernick, Alex Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford as the field generals to lead a team down the field for a win or at least a FG in 1 minute or less.

You should never expect him to be like a Fangio, Martindale or Spagnuolo.

If you want to keep, Evero and be successful, you need a QB who can command the end of a game with calm and precision while knowing before critical situation when to take a risky shot.
