We had a number of fans here who couldn't wait to get Cam Newton out the door so I don't see it as being far fetched there are some Ravens fans that aren't enamored with Lamar Jackson. As it is Lamar has squarely placed the burden of the entire franchise on himself now with Harbaugh out as he receives minute by minute updates from the Ravens org about their head coaching search. Good luck with that.

There was nobody i knew in the real world I knew that wanted to get rid of cam post mvp pre watt hit.  Thats just crazy talk

Years ago I would encounter fans in public who grumbled about Cam Newton's personality. Now ten years later you still can't go anywhere online where Cam Newton is mentioned or a topic of discussion and not see multiple comments about him not diving on a fumble in the Super Bowl. Unfortunately people like that exist.

So me saying I know fans that want to get rid of Lamar and Dak should be interpreted as I think Bryce is as good as them? Okie dokie.

If you can’t see it, that is on you.

You can know what you meant, and understand that maybe you could have expressed yourself in a way that made it clearer.
You could see how it could be interpreted the way I took it.
Or you don’t want to acknowledge it, as it appears is happening.
See that or don’t, I don’t give a poo.

All fan bases have people that are gonna grumble about imperfection.  It is part of it.

That doesn’t always rise to the level of serious ‘get rid of them’ sentiments.  It is just wanting more.  Lots of people are hard to satisfy. I am for sure hard on any player making many millions of bucks, I just expect a lot for the tens of millions they get paid.

The thing about QBs is people make them golden calves - where you can’t say things about ‘their QB’. Even though they are saying the same type of stuff all the time about other players…..

Well. Unfortunately the Cam Newton era put a spotlight on some very ugly folks. We'll leave it at that.

Athlete salaries especially for certain skill positions have gotten absurd to say the least and we live in heightened times of awareness as a society so general criticism will always be present.

For me it boils down to what I'm seeing and hearing with my own eyes and ears. If the QB is pulling his weight and even doing some of the heavy lifting for those around him then he will receive the benefit of the doubt so long as he is holding up his end of the bargain. And all QB's even the really good ones are going to have some lesser games compared to others. But where we are now is basically just being thrilled when our guy can do the most basic things on a football field. And there are people who can't understand why dialogue is not getting any better. If it were not so absurd it would be quite amusing.
