Canales’ offense with everything he has and the qb he was hired to work with was comparable across the board to what Cleveland did this year.

not really the flex you’re hoping for

Yet it was only his second year...

He has improved the offense?  And yeah man our roster is still piss poor due to the bryce trade and what we gave up.  I wouldnt be planting my flag just yet going 8-10 in a horrid division.

Better than what the Browns did in a division that was arguably almost as bad this year.

thats a strange fuging hill to die on

I'm not dying on anything. fug Stefanski. I'm not the one saying he's such a great hire (in a Panthers forum, no less). There are plenty of questions marks regarding his coaching style and body of work, yet some of you Huddlers think he's an ascending Belichick or something. Well, keep at it. My focus is going back to where it should be.

Nobody is saying that.  However he is a good coach and better than morris.  Thats the point they are upgrading.  Just like the saints.  TB seems to be holding steady

I'll give it at least three years before I'll say anyone is upgrading. There is a whole lot that goes into that, and not just what's done on the field.

So after 2026 is when we can tell if the falcons improved by hiring Raheem morris?

Youre dealing buddy

We'll never know what Morris would've done next season. Hell, Gruden took Tony Dungy's team to the Super Bowl and won. I believe that Tony Dungy would've won. We'll never know. Those are facts!

Crystal balls are overrated.

Stefanski is too busy trying to fit players into his scheme than actually putting players into the best situation to succeed. That's a pet peeve of mind. I want my coaches to adapt, in-game, personnel-wise and opponent-wise. I know it can be considered a big ask, but that's what makes great coaches great. I want to see coaches continually do more with less, not do less with more.

I agree.  Just not sure about all the dynamics.  I know his relationship with Watson was dysfunctional, Myles talked about wanting out, etc.  However, I am not sure how versatile he is.  Specifically, who was out of position in your estimation?  What adjustments did you want to see against what teams?  I did not keep up with the Browns like you did, so I am just curious.I do, however, agree 100% with your premise.  For the past year, I have been working 60 hours per week, so I am out of the loop.

    • Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.
    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
