It wasnt just the knee either. He's had a lingering wrist issue for a few years now. Im sure that had to have affected Andrei's stick handling and shooting. 

His debut of the slapshot this season makes me think that might finally be healed up. Feels like we might see another "The Svechnikov" goal from him here soon!

He's playing with new sticks, too. Different shaft, blade curvature.
