With Shockey, the health concerns worry me more than the other stuff, honestly.

Personally, I don't like him, but there's lots of players I don't like. From what I remember, he's irked some people in his career, but I can't recall him ever being in trouble with the law or being in a major feud with a teammate.

He comes off as a cocky bastard, and while I may dislike that, by itself it doesn't disqualify him from being on the team.

For the record, Rivera has experience dealing with cocky bastards. If you doubt that, take a look at who was quarterbacking when he joined the Bears.
