TE Kenyon Sadiq from locked on panthers and locked on Ducks

Recommended Posts

First part,  discussion on TEs

we all feel as we feel about a TE in the first   Panthers have needs of course   I don’t think he will be there at 19 in any case

Per them. Sadiq is  a Offensive coordinator’s best friend.   says he can do it all, including block   Set up as WR, Hback, elite speed and quickness, red zone, screens, downfield     Over midDle

Then discussion on Ole Miss TE and Delp

Have we even met with Sadiq? Still time, but can't imagine we take a guy we haven't met with. The idea of him is great and could do great things for the offense, IF, Idzik and Canales use him.

I just have a hard time with our coaching staff and their previous stops all of a sudden caring about using a TE as a focal point.

Why wasn’t Tom Brady a first rounder?

huh?  Nobody knew about him.  Thats really a dumb question.  The dude on the podcast hyped the hell out of Kenyon saying there was literally nothing he couldnt do.  So if he is so awesome why would he or anyone expect him to last to 19?

Sadiq would allow Carolina to give XL a prove it type year.  If he continues to suck, sadiq is basically a more athletic XL that can speak english.  He could fill XL's role and Carolina can draft XL's replacement next year.

If the idea is to use him as a volume target I would be okay with the pick at 19.

I keep saying it and no one agrees I guess, but a excellent pass catching running back would be a better place to spend those targets than a TE.

Jonathan Brooks is that player if he returns to form.

What smoke screen? The team has had no noted contact with him.

Locked on Panthers and a mock draft or two arent team actions.

    • They have end-of-season physicals and they're, essentially, owned by the team. Sure this could be an issue they picked up in January and he refused the surgery then, but the small print of his contract would also oblige the team not to pay him.  I don't think we're stupid enough to let him holistically heal a neck injury, so this is almost certainly a new one.
    • Let's see if they'll trade us Stroud for Young straight up.
    • Sounds encouraging.  I agree about the LB....I was CERTAIN second round would be a LB.  I would also like to add that, on paper, DL looked solid--but only 1 performed well in 2025 (2 if you count Robinson, who is now gone).  I am guessing they feel that the LB play will improve with the improvement up front--logical.  Remember the old rule (not sure who said it first) "You build from the inside out, front to back."   We drafted, in my early opinion, a starting NT and C this year.  inside out, front to back.
