Cooper is a slot receiver and though we need one the 1st round is too high. The tackles are deep in the 1st round but after that it's just guys converting to guard in the nfl. I think there are 4 true tackle prospects on day 1 so it will depend on who's left when we pick. If none of them are then I would consider CB or S as that is probably the best available for us and helps the team more than a slot receiver at this time.

I'm not sold on their ability to do much of anything. The only FO person I have faith in is Tillis. Dan and Dave still has some work to do to impress me or give me the faith that they can turn the team around.

I think this is where I'm at too. I'd say the turnaround really started once Tillis got a bigger voice in the room. All of a sudden we started making better draft picks and personnel moves. Which is why I didn't want to lose him to the Falcons.

I think he's the decenting voice in the room that keeps them in check when he can. He tells them the consequences of every decision from a financial and team building perspective that has long been missing in the building.

The way I see it is they will have to decide when they want to address the tackles. I would prefer they do it this draft and use next year's 1st on qb. If they don't do it this draft that means they plan to next year which takes qb off the table.

Yeah except the QB could throw a curve ball they would have to swing at. If he flops this year are they really thinking a T will fix it?  They better be thinking a QB will fix it. This is why a proactive OL stance serves our interests.

Another variable is that next year, all these QBs might push a lot of great players down the draft order. If somehow QB is covered, it could be good for us.

They better hope they've answered the qb situation. If not they will have to hope that there's a loaded tackle class next year. They have a lot to think about between now and when they are on the clock.

Brother, he missed 3 games due to injury in 2024. The first three he didn't play because he was an undrafted rookie.

Doesn't erase concerns over his quadricep but its not factual to say he missed 6 games due to injury.

Brah, get in we are going down Cookers injury history-

2024- hamstring injury that had a effect on his combine and pro-day= UDFA gem. panthers bought him and he rehabbed during mini. During TC he missed time with quad(future incoming here). Panthers CUT him, how?? why did they?? You have to agree one of the reasons was injury. Hes on PS for couple weeks and now on the 53. Around week 10 he goes on IR with quad.... makes it back and gives hope he's ready for 2025.

2025- He shows up in Benij shape, gets another quad injury. Adam take allllll the WRs and BY to one of Minnesotas' 10,000 lakes. No Coker, team upset and lays out a workout plan.( He follows it. )Steve Smith releases a 10 min rap beef video calling out how lazy and unprofessional Cooker is. Time passes- Panthers trade Adam with the hope Coker can take some of the reps, he gets another quad injury and hurts the Panthers plan. 6 IR weeks later he comes back, he's fresh legged and others are six weeks in. Playoffs he has a all-timer game.

So if you want to get detailed about it, there they are. He missed 3 games in 2024 (bye adds another week)due to injury and 3 games being Cut for reasons that may or did include his leg being hurt. 2025 he shows up in Benj-shape and has another mini, OTAs, and TC of rehabbing mixed with live reps. Then two days after the Adam trade, he re-injuries his troubled quad and sits on IR for 6 games.

We can or you can discuss the reasons for him being cut and determine if his injury issues were part of it or not. The main point in all this to to show their are some issues if the team is counting on Coker, as shown above and they are not just quad ones.

Hammer-time..... so for the 42nd time Im telling all who want to talk panthers and what could be in the future plans, watch out for the Matt Millen special........ cause WR is on the menu and it should be given the Panthers are one repeating quad issue from starting David fing Moore or who knows I still have a little hope XL shows up and can be a legit #2....

so you want to draft yet another WR in the first or second round that's supposed to save this offense, which would make 5 out of 6 years right? And we HIT ON ONE, and that's a hopefully.

We have other positions  of need and TE takes care of adding a weapon and a blocker. If Sadiq is there, there is no other option.

no I don't.

again I feel that's what the Panthers will or have plans to do. I've been trying to prepare huddle form going nuclear.

I prefer to draft edge, DL, CB, or LT in the first two rounds.

But again I understand what the Panthers thinking is, they are one quad or sophomore slump away from starting David Moore. You can play 5 WR at the same time, 3 is the normal for many NFL teams. Panthers have that hole at either starting TE or starting slot.  So.................. Matt Millen it is!!
