An Offensive Tackle for the Long Term, but....

@MHS831 here's the new "watch out for ________ " The urn...... erra I know you don't follow speedruning... the run.

Some team from 9-12 could start a run on either WR or OT. Both groups have around 5-6-7 players that could fall in the top 20 range, the deal with runs is the panic factor and after those 5-6-7 players there's a huge drop to 8-10 like wait until the late third round. That's the juciest forecast Ive heard.

Panthers are in the dead man zone if that happens. One of those runs completely changes the draft plan. Id say 26.89% one of the urns happens..... carry on!!

We need a tackle but we need to take one that we think can be what we need after a year of development. If that player isn't available at a particular early draft spot, don't reach. Take the stronger positional value instead. We have multiple needs across this team.

I think we could address the position in the draft but only if we address it wisely. Don't take one just to take one. If we don't take a tackle, at least take a center. We don't need to leave the draft with at least 1 offensive lineman. I'd prefer 2. Starting caliber center and a tackle that can at least be a RT, and possibly a left. We need to get this offensive line back to a more even place of rookie contracts with veteran contracts to get the cap spending under control.
