I don't have much of an opinion on whether he will be good or not. I just think it's a matter of will or won't his knee hold up after 2 tears. Simple as that.

This is true. And the fact of the matter is the second injury was entirely noncontact. That in itself is a major issue in terms of the will he or won't he talk regarding on if he will ever be able to establish any semblance of longevity in relation to an NFL career.

An optimist might say that the non contact failure of the repair means it was a shitty repair job.  And that one done right will hold up.
I wish I were an optimist.  I can get to how they might see it, but can’t believe it for myself.

Man, I sure wish MHS831 were still posting--where has he been?  He is brilliant.  Maybe the best Huddler of all time.  Anyhow, I think he might say that building the OL makes the RBs better--Only in rare cases should you have a RB on a second contract.

What happened to your old account?

Philly of the last decade and Dallas of the decade prior are proof of this. Resources heavily dedicated to the oline and RBs who look brilliant only to disappear into obscurity when they get a second deal elsewhere.

It's much more productive to have 1st contact 2 yards past the LoS than a yard behind it.

I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
