If we lose another ECF I am pretty much done having any expectations for this team.  Other teams around us are getting better and while the window is open it is very, very, very slowly closing. 
At this point I don’t know what else we can do. Canes are the very definition of insanity. Rod won’t grow or adjust his system. Which at this point is definitely more geared toward regular season domination. He is stubbornly loyal to his assistants. We seem to be allergic to getting a good, consistent goalie. 
Next season will be more of the same. Good regular season and then playoffs until we hit that wall. 
Over and over and over again. This was the best chance to make the Stanley Cup. But honestly I doubt we can beat Vegas or Colorado.
