What would you do if this was your child.

Absolutely press charges... my wife deals with stuff like this as a sprcial ed teacher. Getting the justice system involved is the only real way to make something happen. This kid needs to be dealt with by the police for assault.

Find out if the school is following your county's protocol for bullying. This child should also be suspended from riding the bus... and charges can also be pressed for the threat at school.

She took a dozen pictures of his neck and called his teacher who was shaken by this and went to hunt down the principal who was in a meeting and she had the principal call her back but wouldn't say much except they would have to investigate...

I'd call the police and Social Services. Firstly he could have seriously injured your child, You need to drop your kid off at school tomorrow morning and demand to talk to the principal, don't leave until you see him/her.

This.....The kid carried through with his threat of your child. Assault, attempted murder, this bully kid is seriously fugged up for the rest of his life.

Here's what you do:

Go see your lawyer. Tell him/her you want to sue;

the principle

the kid's parents

and the city

all for negligence.

File the suit at the courthouse with the local news on hand (notify as many as you can)

I think you will have their undivided attention. They will be calling you to correct the situation.

    • My only conclusion about that is they either thought both were worthy or Bryce was worthy.  Frank’s reaction hints that - if they were straight with him - they thought either would do.    My opinion was that neither was worth doing that fake but that was before I even ‘scouted’ them I am just against that type of move regardless  A firm policy   If you can trade for the pick, it likely isn’t a generational player in the first place, because people don’t trade those. Get a clue David Tepper   It was such a clusterfug.
    • KB was always an anomaly to me and hard to judge. He never looked the same after his knee injury and his mom's passing. Grief does strange things to people. I know some people who've bounced right back and I've known some that it just tore apart and it changed their personality and life perspective. He was admittedly in a dark place after that and it just kept going downhill. I always thought that grief may have played a bigger role than we think, or it may not have. That's just one of those I shake my head and say man, I just don't know.
