Every year I can probably name only 5-10 college players total... and that is because 1) I am a casual College football fan and 2) the NCAA promotes and pushes them for marketing purposes................. AND you know what, many of them end up being 1st round picks so based on your logic Stirs none should be drafted. NFL teams should only draft players that people cant name :crazy:

Well, yeah at first. Like ANY young QB. Then as he becomes more comfortable he will be able to do more and more.

That is the cycle of every QB.

he is the same kind of kid and his endorsements will suffer if he is "managing" a game

That is just the attitude part. He is also about the 20th best player in the draft and we be a mega reach to draft the guy.

Hate to tell you guys, but it's not a smokescreen. They're genuinely checking him out, and yes, he's likely in the discussion for the number one pick.

Smokescreens don't happen until you have a solid idea of who you want, and pretty much nobody with any insight believes the Panthers have made that decision yet.
