Only if gross is really wanting to test the market. He can flat say no to any offer the Panthers put out there so he can test the waters. That forces the team to franchise him instead of peppers. I still feel we need to franchise peppers and get what we can for him.

i think gross and peppers are in a scheme so that gross won't sign so the panthers will have to franchise him, allowing peppers to escape untagged.

i agree..we need to get what we can from the guy that we know doesnt wana be hear. even if gross test the waters i think hell eventually sign with us.....but i am realy interested in what peppers has to say to the public tomorow.

I would have liked to see this done already. I keep checking this board throughout the day hoping to see Gross has been signed.

If Gross really wanted to stay in Charlotte, he would work with the Panthers to get signed so they can tag and trade Peppers. I am not saying he wants out of here, he can just really help the team out by getting signed now. Lets go Hurney and Gross - get it done.
