QBs are going to fall in this draft...and QBs that fit what carolina is looking for will be around at the top of the 3rd round.

I don't think there is any way we are considering Mallett #1 overall... he has to be part of a bigger plan to trade down later into the first round or high into second which I think we are very serious about trying to do.

I am all for taking a QB, but I think even the Cam-Haters cringe at the thought of Mallett going #1 overall.

Oh, I think it's very possible, even though it certainly wouldn't be my choice.

You have to remember that all those draft expert evaluations we see online and on ESPN don't carry any weight with the team. They have their own scouting department, and you can't assume that what they think necessarily matches up to what the media types say.

For all we know, the Panthers scouting department may think Ryan Mallett is a football superman.

I would seriously destroy my TV if Ryan Mallett is drafted by us... anywhere. And if we sign him as an undrafted FA I will drive to training camp and throw dirty socks filled with rotten fruit at him.
