Missouri's Gabbert impresses Rivera

Believe me, I have no trouble telling someone when I think they've said something stupid. Nor do I have a problem with others saying it, even if it's to me

Where I think people get offbase is when they say stuff like "you just hate him" or "you don't like black quarterbacks" or some other such thing, trying to attack the person rather than the validity of their statements.

Granted, when someone actually says something that calls their character into question, it's valid.

Attributing personal motives to someone just because they don't see a draft prospect the same as you do? Please :frown2:

All of that is fine. But none of the this sort of thing exists in the posts above.

Maybe, just maybe, people sense you have an agenda because you feel the need to jump into any conversation that might involve Newton. Usually followed up with a statement exactly like the one above.

I am not personally accusing you of anything. But it is not hard to see why some others perceive it differently.

I don't think so. Rivera is right. Gabbert is smooth and polished

he is also cocky and confident and will bring leadership and swagger

to our team. I'd rather go D and get a QB in 2012 but if we do go

QB our best bet will be Gabbert. He has winner stamped all over him.

Matt Moore has a special place in my heart. for some reason, I can't hate the guy even after last year's lackluster performance.

It's strange, I feel the the same way too.

I really like the guy and want him to do well, even after he tanked last year. Whether it be here or on another team.
