John Fox on Armanti Edwards....

John Fox concedes that the Panthers likely blew it by trading a 2011 second-round pick for the right to draft Armanti Edwards last April.

"You don’t know what that player’s going to develop into. Time will tell," said Fox. "But it doesn’t look very good at this point." The Patriots wound up with the No. 33 pick in this year's draft, a selection considered "gold" because of the layover from the first to second round. Edwards, who wound up costing Carolina both last year's No. 89 pick and this year's 33rd, had almost as many fumbles as games played in his rookie season.

lol @ the guy who started Jake Delhomme for months after his playoff collapse, essentially eliminating us from the playoffs, evaluating players not on his team.

my respect for this prick has gone down steadily since he left. fug him.

honestly feel bad for the Broncos and The Golden Calf of Bristol. they would have been better off rehiring McDaniels.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
